Blenheim Crescent, Notting Hill
We over saw the redevelopment of an existing terraced commercial property on one of Notting Hill’s most iconic and recognisable streets, 2 doors down from the famous bookshop. This project involved the full demolition of the existing structure and insertion of a 4 meter deep basement on a tight urban site adjacent to the Portobello Road, W11. The basement and ground floor has become a vibrant and thriving restaurant, with a triplex apartment above.
The apartment is extremely open plan necessitating the inclusion of an integrated misting system and centred around a laser cut steel plate staircase below a large roof light. The bathrooms were particularly successful with marble and Tadelakt Moroccan polished plaster.
